by TeamWork Live on April 27, 2007
Welcome to the April newsletter. We are happy to share with you many improvements to TeamWork Live that make it even easier for you to run successful projects.
Stay in Sync With Notify Via Email
You can now notify another team member or the entire team of a new milestone, task, page, or comment via email. It's analogous to carbon-copying (CC) other users in your email program. Learn more »
Stay Informed With Team Status Report
We added the team status report to the the reports tab. The team status report allows you to see the completion status (number of open, overdue, and completed items) for each of your project teams. Using the report, you will be able to quickly see which teams require your attention.
Manage Change With Push Up Due Dates and Bulk Update of Responsible Users
We know projects don't always run according to plan. Dealing with change has now become a lot easier with TeamWork Live: instead of updating each milestone or task one at a time, you can now update the due dates and responsible users for all milestones or tasks at once (see screen shot below). Learn more »
Prioritize with Milestone/Task Priority
You can now assign priorities to milestones and tasks when creating them. The milestones and tasks pages are sorted first by due date and then by priority. You can quickly change the priority of a milestone or task by clicking the priority icon. Learn more »
Keep Track of the Little Things With Note Pad
This feature grew out of our need for a way to deal with all the sticky notes cluttering our desks. While tasks are great for keeping track of big things, we often needed to keep track of a lot of the little things related to a task. The note pad is our solution for tracking the little things (see screen shot below). You can view your note pad from any page by clicking the note pad icon next to the search box. Learn more »
Inform Others With Resolution Comment and Reopen Comment for Milestones and Tasks
You can now add a resolution comment and mark an item as completed in one step. The posted comment will be shown as the resolution comment. As an added benefit, the person who assigned the milestone or task will receive only one email notification instead of the previous two (one for the item being completed and one for the new comment).
Additional Features
We have many other additional features that we did not have room to mention in this newsletter. Read about them in our blog:
Resolution/Reopen Comments, Notify Via Email, and More
Team Status Report, Milestone/Task Priority, Detail Page Improvements, and More
Newsletter Specials
Some of the new features (such as the team status report) are only available on the pay plans. If you would like try out the new feature, please send us an email at support@teamworklive.com and we will set you up with a new 30-day trial. Also, we are offering an additional free month to anyone who upgrades to one of our group plans by May 1st. Take advantage of this great opportunity to make your team successful now.

by TeamWork Live on February 28, 2007
Welcome to the February newsletter. February is a short month, but we still managed to add a lot of features to improve your TeamWork Live experience. The new features we would like to share with you in this newsletter are group plans and weekly status reports.
Group Plans
We are happy to announce the arrival of group plans at TeamWork Live. Group plans will be a big cost savings for those of you who collaborate with many people and need secure data encryption for all your collaborations.
We have 3 plans available:
1. Small Group - $69/month for 10 user licenses ($81/month savings compared to 10 Plus Plans)
2. Medium Group - $149/month for 25 user licenses ($226/month savings compared to 25 Plus Plans)
3. Large Group - $199/month for 50 user licenses ($551/month savings compared to 50 Plus Plans)
Each user on a group plan gets access to all the features included in the Plus Plan. Additionally, group plan users also gain the ability to perform data backups and create new projects by cloning existing projects. Group plans differ from per-user plans in another way: storage space for a group plan is shared amongst all group members, whereas storage spaces are kept separate for per-user plans. Finally, you can easily reassign user licenses for a group plan from one user to another as users join and leave a project, or as projects are completed and new ones are started.
We are also offering academic and non-profit discounts for group plans. If you are an academic or non-profit organization and would like to get set up for a discounted group plan, please contact us at support@teamworklive.com.
Weekly Status Report
The weekly status report is a new report available under the "Reports" tab. The report allows you to see the following information across all your teams for all team members:
1. The milestones and tasks completed the previous week
2. The milestones and tasks that are overdue
3. The milestones and tasks that are due in the next week
We hope you find this report useful for your Monday morning meetings. Please let us know if you have suggestions for improving it.
Additional Features
We have also added a lot of other features such as hourly rate for time tracking report and the ability to view your teammates' calendars. Learn more about them in the following blog entries:
Group Plans and Message Display Preference
Weekly Status Report, Hourly Rate for Time Tracking, and More

We at TeamWork Live would like to wish you a happy and successful new year! As usual, we have many new features and improvements to share with you.
SITE RELIABILITY IMPROVEMENTS
1. Backup Site - We have set up backup site so that you can access your information even if the main site is down. The URL for the backup site is http://backup.teamworklive.com. The backup site contains a copy of your data from 24 hours ago.
2. Site Status - We have added real-time monitoring for TeamWork Live. You can view the real-time status of TeamWork Live by clicking the Site Status link found on the bottom of every page.
NEW FEATURES
1. Auto Save - When you are editing an item from the edit page, the page will be automatically saved every 3 minutes. If you accidentally close your browser or your browser crashes, you can rest assured that, at most, you will only lose 3 minutes worth of changes. Just return to the page you were editing, and you will have the option to continue editing the last auto-saved version or discarding the auto-saved changes and edit the original (see image below).
2. Comment Drafts - When adding comments, you can save it as a draft and finish it later. Just click the [Finish later] button to save it as a draft instead of posting it. You can return to edit and post your comment by clicking the edit link.
3. File Upload from Quick Add - You now have the ability to attach a file from the quick add feature. Previously, you had to go to the full edit mode to attach a file.
MESSAGING IMPROVEMENTS
1. Message Drafts - You can save drafts of messages you are working on to finish later. Click the "Finish later" button when creating a message to save it as a draft.
2. Edit Message - You can edit recently-sent messages to fix any mistakes in the message. This option is available until someone replies to your message.
TEAM MANAGEMENT IMPROVEMENTS
1. Inactive Teams - You can mark a team as inactive. Inactive teams are not shown in your dashboard. To mark a team as inactive, edit a team from the Team Management page, and select the inactive option.
2. Custom Invitations - You can customize the invitation message sent to the people you invite to your teams. The pop-up page that appears when you click the "Invite users to this team" button has an area for you to customize your invitation message. You can also save your message as the default message for future invitations sent for that team.

by TeamWork Live on November 21, 2006
Welcome to the November newsletter for TeamWork Live. We have just finished a major new release and would like to share the exciting new features with you.
User Interface Redesign
The biggest change from the last release is our improved user interface. We have been listening to your feedback and have reworked our user interface to make it much more intuitive. If you haven't tried TeamWork Live in a while, we think you will be delighted at how easy it is to use now.
Milestones
Based on your requests, we have added the ability to create milestones and to assign tasks to milestones.
Quick Add
The quick add feature has been enhanced to allow you to enter formatted text using our rich-text editor without going to a separate edit page. This should make quicker for you to enter your data into TeamWork Live.
Quick Edit
Quick edit is another feature we added to allow you to work faster. You no longer have to go to a separate edit page to make quick changes to a milestone, task, or page. Select "Edit (quick)" from the actions menu for the item, and you will be able to edit most of the information from within the same page.
Comments
You can now attach files to your comments.
Messaging
We added a message search feature to allow you to quickly retrieve previous conversations with your teammates. Additionally, we also made it easier for you to mark messages requiring follow-up so you can keep track of them.
Print All Pages in Folder
You can now print all the pages in a folder by selecting from actions drop-down for the folder. See screenshot.
Teams
1. Users on our Premium Plan will now be able to create a template team and duplicate and modify it for each of their projects.
2. You can now show your team description in the team overview page.
Upgrade Special
Until the end of November, if you upgrade your account from either free to pay, or from a pay plan to a higher plan, we'll give you an additional month of the new plan for free. We will manually add the additional month within 24 hours of your upgrade.
We have many more exciting features in store so stay tuned. Thanks again for your support.
