Can we try out TeamWork Live before we pay for it?

Yes, all new users are given a free 30-day trial membership to TeamWork Live. If you have not signed up for a pay plan by the end of your trial, your account will automatically be downgraded to the Free Plan. Users downgraded to the Free Plan will retain their existing projects, but will not be able to create new projects or invite users to existing projects.

What about privacy, security, and confidentiality?

We take careful precautions to protect your information. TeamWork Live servers are housed in a secure state-of-the-art data center. All accounts are password-protected and project workspaces are only accessible by those with proper permissions. The data you enter into TeamWork Live belongs to you. We will never sell or share your data. Users on the Plus Plan and Group Plans will also enjoy the added protection of 256-bit SSL encryption of their data during transmission.

What are the system requirements for using TeamWork Live?

Since TeamWork Live is hosted on our servers, all you need is an internet connection and a modern web browser to use our service. We currently support Internet Explorer 7 and later, Firefox 2 and later, and Safari 3 and later. We currently do not support Opera due its lack of DOM support. For the service to function correctly, cookies, JavaScript, and pop-ups must be enabled.

Do I need an IT department to manage TeamWork Live?

No. Since there's nothing to install, setup is extremely simple and can be done in a matter of minutes.

Is there any training required to learn how to use TeamWork Live?

TeamWork Live is designed to be easy to learn and use. We have online tutorial videos that will get you up and running in about 10 minutes. Should you have additional questions, you can access contextual help from "Help" and "Tutorial" links on the top-right corner of any page.

Can I access my data while I am offline?

Yes, we understand that you will not always have an internet connection available when you need to access your information. That's why we allow you to download any of your folders as a ZIP file. The ZIP file will include HTML versions of all the items in the folder as well as any files attached to those items.

What happens if the TeamWork Live site goes down? Will I still be able to access my data?

To ensure that you still have access to your information even when the main site is unavailable, we have set up a backup site at http://backup.teamworklive.com. The backup site contains a copy of your data up until 24 hours ago.

You can always check the status of TeamWork Live and get details about any service disruptions on our site status page.

Can I get my data out if I want to discontinue using TeamWork Live?

Yes, you can download all your data as a ZIP file using our backup feature. The ZIP file will contain HTML versions of all of your items along with any files attached to those items. The backup feature is only available on our pay plans, but should you decide to leave TeamWork Live, we will give you a free backup so that you can take your data with you.

Can we run TeamWork Live on our own servers?

TeamWork Live is a hosted service. It is not available for purchase to install on your own servers.
